Debbie, Dennis & their family made us very welcome and within days the Avon Inn became our local in every sense of the word. The food is delicious, the company very friendly and the beers & wines plentiful and fine - one of the best pints of Guiness outside of Dublin. A gem on the Avon.

Unfortunately unable to try the standard menus as this was the Easter weekend (Good Friday), and only doing a BBQ.
Very friendly staff.
We had arranged to meet friends who live locally, and they recommended this place as we had young children.
There was an egg hunt of a different kind, and both my children enjoyed themselves.
I had booked a table in case we had a problem due to the special events that had been organised.
It seems that a good proportion of the locals do not use the place, but I think it is ace.
I met one of the owners, and she took time to have a long chat. I suggest you check out their website for more details.
If we are in the area again we will return.

This restarant is on of the best I have visited. A supper sharp service with smilles all round. My personal favorot chose would have to be either their take away stone baked pizza or a prawn bagget with jaket wegges. The new owners have brought somthing new to the biulding and introduced events in to the comunity. It is a lovelly resturant set right on the doorstep by the river avon. 10 out of 10!

I had a Christmas meal here in December and it was excellent. I was welcomed warmly by the landlord who offered us mulled wine and mince pies. The atmosphere in the bar was lovely with its wood burner and good selection of ales. The staff were friendly and I would recommend a visit.

A warm & friendly welcome awaits at The Avon Inn. The food is delicious, the company excellent and the beer & wine fine - best Guiness outside of Dublin. We became locals rather than visitors in our short time in Avonwick and enjoyed our nights at this gem on the Avon. Thank you Debbie & Dennis for a wonderful time.
